Building for Justice Committee

The County is prohibited from organizing and funding a campaign for passage of a ballot issue. Thus, it is up to the citizens of Polk County to organize and promote this necessary Referendum. With this in mind, a bi-partisan grass roots group has formed the Building For Justice Committee to take the leadership role in behalf of the Referendum. In order to underscore the grass roots’ orientation of this campaign and to encourage a broad-based financial support, the Building For Justice Committee has established a $100.00 campaign contribution limit.
